It's been great fun working with some very old friends and new acquaintances on this show; the madness and hilarity of the show made the work seem effortless!  I am grateful and humbled to work with such professionals.

I had no idea people were funny in the 40's, until we started uncovering the text of this play.  We're having so much fun on stage - the audience is guaranteed a great evening! If you need a laugh ...

Performing in this show, with my dear pal Suzanne Rankin, is a dream come true!  Working with this talented cast is really a bonus, a gift.  I am enjoying the intense work on this challenging production.

I've wanted to play this part, since I was 12 years old.  We have laughed our way through the rehearsal process, and we're looking forward to sharing this special show with a Heartwood audience.  There are no missed opportunites for a laughs; we're getting the best possible from every actor.

Suzanne Rankin (Abby Brewster)

This part has been a challenge, and I'm quaking in my Edwardian shoes at the thought of keeping up with this marvelous cast and magnificent director & crew.  I think I want to live in the Brewster House forever!

It has been such a pleasure to be part of Arsenic & Old Lace, with this talented and professional cast.  Heartwood productions have a way of making one feel like family, this production being no different.  I challenge anyone to leave the Poe Theater unhappily, after this one!

Bill Vaughan (Jonathan Brewster)

It's been fun, bringing this classic comedy to the stage, as we have truly immersed ourselves in the Brewster home!  (Playing the villainous Jonathan gives me a chance to show my disdain for acting buddies on stage ... heh heh heh.)

This production clearly holds the bar on comedy, timing and general mayhem, as the director teases the humor from the playwright's pen and the cast brings it to life.  I never tire of watching fellow actors brilliantly honing their skills here ... and I have never laughed so much!
