Heartwood Closes Silent Auction with Festivities

More than 150 items are up for bid in Heartwood Theater’s silent auction, on display at Skidompha Library through May 18th. From yard work to bed & breakfast packages; restaurant gift certificates to golf lessons, paintings to pet supplies … there is something for everyone here, at auction prices.

Bidding comes to a close on Saturday, May 18th. Join us from 7:30-9pm, to place your final bid and enjoy prosecco, nibbles, Cynthia Simmonds’ chocolates, and music by Dave Martin. Local artist, John Whalley, will speak about his work, beginning at 7:45 (25 Whalley prints are up for bid in this auction).

The Midcoast Community has been extremely generous with donations for this fund raiser, and one cannot pass through Skidompha’s library without casting an eye – and a bid - toward the delightful array of items, both practical and luxurious. Library hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9 a.m. -5 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
