Once On This Island

Heartwood Regional Theater Company is turning up the heat with its first production of the season, Once on This Island. This fun and fanciful Tony Award winning Broadway musical with music by Stephen Flaherty and book and lyrics by Lynn Ahern, creators of Ragtime, tells a tale of lives, loves, and legends on a Caribbean island. 

Presented by Heartwood Youth in collaboration with Lincoln Academy, Once on This Island involves over 40 student actors, musicians, and tech crew members from six schools throughout midcoast Maine. The joyous music, colorful sets, and energetic performers will make this a perfect tropical escape.
