Student Auditions for The Neverending Story
STUDENT AUDITIONS FOR “THE NEVERENDING STORY”
Heartwood Regional Theater Company, in collaboration with AOS 93, presents Winter Drama Adventure – 2015, “The Neverending Story.” All Midcoast students grades 3 – 8 are invited to participate in this full-on production based on the novel by Michael Ende, adapted by David S. Craig, with storytelling, puppetry, movement and masks.
In a land devoured by The Nothing, only one boy can save everything. All he must do is believe in Fantastica, in imagination, and in himself . The Winter Drama Adventure is co-directed by Griff Braley, Artistic Director at Heartwood, and Heidi Kopishke, Great Salt Bay teacher, with Letitia Munson on board as tech director.
Two open auditions are scheduled December 1st and 2nd from 3:00-4:30pm at the Poe Theater, on the Lincoln Academy Campus. Full details and instructions are found in a Parent Info/Audition packet available at www.heartwoodtheater.org. An audition form, to be filled out before the audition time, is included in the packet, along with dates, behavior expectations and performance info.
This program is made possible by the Great Salt Bay Parent-Teacher Organization (GSB PTO), along with Heartwood’s season sponsor, Bath Savings Institution, and youth programming sponsors Damariscotta Hardware, The First, Cheney Insurance and Newcastle Square Realty.
Questions should be directed to Heartwood at info@heartwoodtheater.org or 563-1373
